An Electric Storm

Last night we had a huge storm here. I had a chance to get out my camera a snap about 400 shots, about 380 of which weren't worth looking at. I've always wanted to be able to take some good lightening shots. Here are a few of the best from last night that were taken from my front porch. I'm going to leave them a bit large so you get the full effect. Cheers!

Cheeseburger Festival ?

Two weekends ago, we took the family to the Cheeseburger Festival in Caseville, MI. It is hard to explain except that there are cheeseburgers everywhere and somehow Jimmy Buffett's parrotheads come out of the woodwork for this event. We are all parrotheads in this house in some way so I thought I would share a few pics from the day.

Today's Photo Shoot...

I had a photo shoot for my sister's 2 girls (you've seen them before here). We had a lot of fun shooting these today and the horses were having a bit of fun with us. Oh, there is one of my boy in there too, the ham that he is... So do you think I have the shots to call myself semi-professional?
